From the hotel, go to the corner of Boulevard Saint-Michel and Boulevard Saint-Germain, then take rue de la Harpe.
This street was for centuries the student's street : it was once a very important one as it used to lead to the thermal baths and to the academies of Montagne Sainte-Geneviève.

Turn right on rue Saint-Séverin. You will pass by rue du Chat-qui-pêche which is one of the smallest streets of Paris.
Saint-Séverain church is worth a visit. You can admire the double ambulatory and the palm vaulting which is typical of flamboyant gothic style. |

| Cross rue Saint Jacques towards church Saint-Julien Le Pauvre. From the outside, this church looks like a rural church, and has a touch of roman style. |

Go through square Viviani and walk to Notre-Dame. You can visit the towers, the crypt and the"trésor" (treasure), and admire the stained glass windows.
Hang around square Jean XXIII and take the bridge to Saint-Louis Island . Stop for an Ice Cream at Bertillon, and walk around in the area and let yourself go at the charms of this place! |

As a conclusion take pont de la Tournelle, and admire the magnificent view of the cathedral.
Walk along the river Seine. Some of the boats are actually bars where you can have a drink or take something to eat. |
